Wonderful tidal pool out into the sea. This Tidal Swimming Pool can be found near the village of Pittenweem. The West Braes area has received a lot of investment and undergone a renewal project that includes the tidal pool.
Getting There
There is a small car park and toilet block on the cliffs. There is a set of steps which goes down to the tidal pool.
Accessibility
Really easy access. Easy steps down from the car park

Bracing mid March but fabulous!

This pool is my favourite. Deep enough for a good swim but you need shoes as the entry is rocky. The views are amazing (seals, curlew and other wildlife). Great changing spaces and quire secluded really.

This is like an infinity pool as it is end on to the sea with fantastic views across the Firth of Forth. Can be wild at the end when the sea is rough. There is an honesty box as the pool is well-maintained with benches to get changed on and hooks in the sea wall to hang up your dryribes/towels

A great pool. Steps down the cliff to large areas with benches and flat dry ledges for changing. Swam today as the tide was coming in over the wall - absolutely stunning swimming up the pool with the views too!

Walk down from the car park to this sheltered tidal pool. Nice spot for a family swim.
