Greyrigs
Very nice swimming here with a useful deep section in the middle by the steps. Rocky entry at either end but can be done without shoes. Popular on nice days and a great wee coffee van nearby.

SolwaySelkie
This pool is best if you have a young family as shallow, enclosed and right opposite a playpark. It is very accessible by car and a large number of paddleboarders/canoes use it. Personally I found it too shallow and busy to have a good swim. It is on the coastal path so good for a quick dip en route.

Jami
A busy pool with children and paddle boards, very rocky underfoot and shallow. Not the best place to swim. Water was decidedly murky.

Kirsteenswims
This pool is going to get a revamp. A marvellous community asset that is well used. Shallow for the whole length. Smaller pool is currently not that usable, very slippy and broken tiles but the main pool is suitable for a short swim/plunge.

Kirksally
Great little place and so calm when it’s not high tide. Sloping sandy entry at one end or jump in in the middle.
