Gets very busy- the actual place is pretty and ideal for a walk round but the water has a lot of algae and is rather shallow. Ideal for a dip.

Lovely scenic spot. We went on a warm day after the schools had gone back so were surprised to see so many other people - I imagine it's REALLY busy at a weekend. Water entry point was great and a nice walk to the spot. Not really for 'Swimming' but perfect for a (very) cold dip session. Only thing that let the site down was several 'adult' cannabis users not being very considerate - not very appreciated when there were several mums and tots / babies present.

Lovely little spot for a dip. Not a lot of parking so be mindful of locals but really gorgeous place. Nice place for a picnic and dip.
