Absolutely love Woburn Lido. It has great facilities (changing rooms, showers, parking, proper corner steps into pool....not a ladder, teas and coffees, snacks, a warming up hang-out hut, and the staff/lifeguards are friendly and helpful). It's very restful as far as swimming pools go, and has a max of 12 swimmers per adult lane session. Lovely variety of birds fly overhead and the sunrises over the nearby safari park grounds are spectacular. Great way to stay in touch with the seasons.

Woburn Lido is absolutely lovely. There is parking, showers, changing rooms, and steps to get in… all very civilised. It’s good for exercise and a cold fix in the winter. However obviously it’s not “Wild” so you do lose a bit of that zen mental health benefit you get from swimming in more green spaces in my opinion. That being said I still enjoyed it and it’s a nice stop on my regular journeys from Manchester to Kent so I will visit again!
