The bay is really nice for new wild swimmers with the enclosed sea walls, lifeguard station and usually plenty of other swimmers about. Be aware that the bay itself is colder than the water just a little bit outside, so you’ll cool off coming back in. The only downside is the water quality can be poor from time to time.
