Calm and soothing. Pleasant surroundings. The parking isn't free any more, but not too bad and no walk involved.

Car parking now costs but cheap for several hours. A great spot - not too busy even in late July. Saw man in wheelchair supported to swim here.

Lovely place to swim. Slow flowing water and so clear you can see the fish swimming around.

Free car parking but get there early or wait until later in the day as it gets busy. Easy entry into the water by the grass picnic area. Not deep but swimmable but be aware of the other river users and make sure you're visible (float or hat). Beautiful spot

Really easy to find and free parking all day until 8pm in the summer. A slow and shallow moving stretch of the Avon and a perfect place for any ability of wild swimmer. Just watch out for boats and paddleboards!
