Lovely little spot for either a dip or swim against the flow and swoosh back down. Easy access and a 2 minute walk from parking by Bengeo church. Quiet at 0545 !

Was headed to The Ladder on a recommendation but decided to stop here when I saw it. Not a soul in sight (unsurprisingly, as it was 5.30am). Absolutely lovely! Deep enough that I wasn't able to touch the bottom in places.

Absolutely lovely spot with easy accessibility to the water. Much more crowded than the ladder (which is about 8 mins away) and very popular with teenagers and families. More shade available along here, but again, can get very busy.

Perfect if you want a short dip and not to be too far away from your car if you park along the road next to the church in Bengeo. It is quite shallow here enough to be fully under the water but you can quite easily in many spots touch the ground. This spot is not used by boats either.
