Description
Swim in the river Glen at Surfleet. Locked parking for slipway use. Parking on the road is difficult as sides of road are steep so really only suitable for 4x4s. There is a large turning area at the end of the road. Alternative parking and entry point at the Riverside hotel for small fee.

Lovely spot for a swim. Thanks @Tinsel Tit for your recommendation. Was a lovely swim with easy entry and exit. Good for the kids too. Bit of weed as you get in but after that it’s minimal. Beautiful weeping willow too!

Beautiful swim yesterday evening, parked in the car park. This is fine when it’s open and you leave before the key holder does. There was a few weeds I came across swimming but not really noticeable. There’s a few picnic tables so it’s nice to sit for a bit after
