Description

Beautiful unspoilt sandy beach without facilities. Backed by cliffs and grasses. It's on a footpath heading east of Cullen. You're likely to be there by yourselves.

Getting There

Park in Cullen and follow the headland around keeping the sea on your left. This is a rugged footpath, but beautiful. Looking at the satellite image there may be an easier footpath across the fields from Cullen.

June 22 - We came to this beach after a fairly challenging , but wonderful and interesting stretch of coastal path, There is a long gone hermits dwelling here too. It was a lovely sunny day and warm sea so we cooled off in the waves. There were rocks jutting into the water, but were easy to see. This is definitely more about being in the water within your debth rather than open water swimming. The sand was soft on the beach and some interesting shells. We had the place to ourselves the whole time we we were there and took the opportunity to skinny dip, wave jump and generally having a good time.
