Sea swim. A sandy beach with some pebbles. Gently sloping beach into sea. The safest time to swim is an hour before high tide on the incoming tide. Subject to wind speed and direction.

Getting there

Street parking nearby, check notices on lamp posts as some seasonal restrictions. Cross the main road at the traffic lights and walk to the south side/left side of the tram depot FY8 2SU onto the slipway.

Accessibility

Concrete slipway. Enter the sea from the beach and away from the concrete wall and headland, stay away from these due to currents. Jet skiers use the slipway and beach.
