Description

Brilliant fun to be had on the bend of the River Dart. 5m & 7m jumps in to deep, clear water. Lovely swimming spot. Very popular in the summer but doesn’t feel busy. Lots of open grass for picnics amongst the Dartmoor ponies. From New Bridge car park (£2 for whole day) follow the footpath under the bridge for an easy 10 minute walk.

Nice spot. Not too busy when we were there but can see how it can get very popular. Lovely deep water to swim in and about 50 meters in length if you want to swim up and down. Mostly rocky river bed but there is a sandy section for easy access. Very deep water in places so the jumping spot was popular.
