Bay side open water swim near St Pete Pier. Group swims here seasonally on Sunday mornings. Check Facebook Group for updates. Major risks would include water quality, motorized boats and potential for jelly fish. Best to swim with a group and use a tow float.

Getting There

Downtown St Pete offers loads of transportation options including buses, trolleys, scooters. Pier is accessible by car with paid parking close to Spa Beach entry point.

Accessibility

Water accessed at Spa Beach on North side of the pier near the pavilion. Potential for motorized boats further out towards end of the pier and water quality can be an issue during summer rains with warmer temps. Check Tampa Bay Waterkeepers foe information.
