This little bay is a nice alternative so some of the more busy spots on Gower. There is a sandy chanel into the sea between the rock outcrops. Best visited at lower tides.
Location
Getting there
You can park at Horton and walk the coastal path approximately 2km to the beach or head down the path from Oxwich Green however parking is very limited here. There is a climb down the rocks which is a bit easier from the Horton side.
Accessibility
Not really suitable for buggies or wheel chairs. You need to be confident with a bit of a climb down some rocks.

Plan your swim
Before you go
- Check tide times before entering. Incoming tides can cut off escape routes.
- Watch for rip currents, especially near groynes and headlands
- Cold water shock is real. Enter slowly and control your breathing.
- Always swim with others or tell someone your plan
- A tow float makes you visible to boats and other water users
