Description
Very deep quarry pool used for diving in. There is access over a gate and it has some jumping points. Parking can be difficult. Swimming not strictly allowed - discretion is required. Local school outreach use the pool in day time both during and outside of term time. Pool must be clear of swimmers during their use - swimmers must leave immediately if this is the case.
Getting There
Park considerately - complaints have been made to both church and council by residents about swimmers parking, disturbing residents and blocking church users in (in some cases swimmers have interrupted church services to ask about swimming)

Ahhh
200m+ length pool, in an old quarry. Used by locals and a local water sport charity. Fed from an underground spring so no pollution risk. Temps get up to low 20s in a good summer and can freeze over with a sustained period of frost. Parking is 10 minute walk from local pub. NO parking at the church. Swim shoes needed as stony under foot.
