Description
Shallow beach but after a walk out you can get a couple of metres of depth easily. Bay is probably 0.5 mile wide, may e more. Quite sheltered, in Scapa flow, if the wind is from the north.
Getting There
Public parking beside the beach. A flat 1.5 mile walk from the centre of Kirkwall.
Accessibility
Sandy beach, access to which is down steps.
