About

Gentle sloping beach, safe for swimming for children and adults. Further up the beach is the crowstone, with a lifeguard station, toilet block and shelter so you can also swim from there and your clothes won’t get wet.

Getting there

Drive either A13 or A127 parking at chalkwell esplanade. Also can get there by train, short walk to beach from c2c chalkwell station.

Accessibility

You have to get over a small sea wall, easily accessible but not for wheelchair users.
