Description

Slightly sheltered in the bay of Sligo, so calmer waters can be found in this long stretch of sandy beach. A fabulous spot for open water swimmers. There are actually three beaches - first, second and third beach. Steps and ramp access. Public toilets nearby. Lifeguards present during summer season.

There’s a natural pool near the Yacht club beside the beach which is a great spot for swimming and for kids jumping in. Option of steps or ladder for the more faint-hearted like me!!
