Provided water levels are not too low, can swim for some length in either direction. Dog friendly, family friendly. Often SUPs in water too. Next door to big green area, playground etc

Free parking by the tennis courts off Gooseham Mead.

Accessibility

Level access to waterside. Small climb down (2-3 feet) to standing in the water. Riverbed is silty - would encourage neoprene socks.
