Peaceful section of the River Stort for a dip / swim. Be aware of canal boats.
Getting There
Limited parking on Dell Lane, 10 minute walk from parking.
Accessibility
Easy to slide into the water from the concrete ledge. Getting out isn’t the most graceful of things, some arm strength required to lift yourself up on to the slightly raised concrete ledge.

I went here with my mum and found it was brilliant! We did fasten our own ladder to attach to the railings to help us get out. There is a ledge but once in the water it os well above head height. In November we were able to stand with water coming just above our shoulders. 10/10 swimming here again! Nice clear water compared to other places and the river was flowing but not strong.

Nice and sweet spot. Not so deep and traffic noise was there, but good for the area :) also planes noise, but I'm sensitive to noises!
