Description
The river is beautiful with peaty brown clean water flowing over rocks and boulders. There are lots of entry points, some more private than others. More of a dipping location into the cold fresh water, or skinny dipping if you prefer, rather than swimming.
Getting There
Park at The Logie Estate with their fantastic cafe and shops and take a walk on the footpath through the forest beside the river towards Randolph's Leap. For a shorter walk, park in a layby near Randolph's Leap.
Accessibility
At the marked location, there is a steep bank with hand and foot holds. Not too difficult if you're not impaired in anyway. Getting into the water is easy. However, there are other entry points along the river offering easier entry

Not really child friendly, the current was extremely strong. Definitely not suitable for lone swimming
