Gorgeous part of the world, the bridge at Calver gives easy gentle access to the slower moving water on the bend of the river, and lots of gorgeous pottery fragments to be found among the pebbles. It can be busy in summer whether parking at Froggatt or Calver, so worth going early morning or at sunset or adapting into a walk. Be careful of hidden tree roots and branches underwater, though relatively few and far between.
