About

Various spots along the river for swimming. The waterfall itself has a series of plunge pools which are all fairly safe, although care should be taken around some of the edges. The highest plunge pool is probably the best, however the paths are not easy and some scrambling is involved to reach it. The lower areas are family friendly but the waterfall is more serious. Be aware this is on farmland with lambs etc. Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times.

Location

Getting there

Parking is easy to find from the road and is free, with plenty of spaces if cars are spaced sensibly together. The path is obvious and there is a map highlighting the route near the parking. Waterfalls are approx 2 miles from the parking.

Accessibility

Paths are well maintained, and not steep. Gravel paths so not suitable for wheelchair users. Waterfall plunge pool path is steep and rocky.
