Description
Wide open river with easy entry point from the floating pontoon. There is a small ramp or you can jump. Safe for children if they are confident Swimmers. River is slow flowing and flat, deep at this point. Preston Park has ample free parking, the swim location is a 400m walk from the car down hill. The park has lots of space for picnics, a decent children's playground. It does get quite busy in the summer and teenagers will gather on warm days, not normally causing any issues.
