El Ejido is a municipality located in the province of Almería, in the autonomous community of Andalucía in southern Spain. The area is characterized by its extensive agricultural fields, mainly greenhouses, which dominate the landscape. The climate in the area is subtropical Mediterranean, making it an ideal location for agricultural production. The nearby Sierra de Gádor provides a scenic background to the flatness of the landscape, while the coastline is just a short drive away, with beautiful beaches such as Almerimar and Balerma.
