Experience this spot in Llançà. Great spot for swimming and paddling, kayaking, canoeing, supping and wind surfing. Llançà is a small coastal town located in the north of Costa Brava, Girona, Catalunya. The town is known for its beautiful beaches and coves, rocky cliffs, and crystal clear waters. The area is surrounded by rugged mountains covered with lush vegetation, and it is a popular spot for hiking and cycling. The natural park of Cap de Creus, a protected area of high ecological value, is located a short drive from Llançà and offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean coastline. The town itself is charming, with narrow streets and whitewashed houses, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes where tourists can taste the traditional Catalan cuisine.

Plan your swim
Before you go
- Check tide times before entering. Incoming tides can cut off escape routes.
- Watch for rip currents, especially near groynes and headlands
- Cold water shock is real. Enter slowly and control your breathing.
- Always swim with others or tell someone your plan
- A tow float makes you visible to boats and other water users
