Experience this spot in Benicarló. Popular location for swimming and paddling, scuba diving, kayaking, canoeing, supping and wind surfing. Benicarló is a coastal town in the province of Castellón, located in the Valencian Community of eastern Spain. The area around Benicarló is characterized by its Mediterranean climate, with warm and dry summers and mild winters. The town and its surroundings are situated on a flat coastal plain, flanked by low hills and the foothills of the nearby Peñiscola mountain range. The landscape is dominated by agricultural land, with acres of orange and almond groves, as well as vineyards and fields of vegetables. The town itself is a charming mix of traditional and modern architecture, with narrow streets lined with historic buildings, and a lively port area with restaurants and cafes. The coastline is punctuated by long stretches of sandy beaches interspersed with rocky coves and small fishing villages. The area is also known for its excellent seafood, with many local restaurants serving fresh catch from the nearby Mediterranean Sea.
