Champagnac-le-Vieux is a small commune located in the Haute-Loire department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-central France. The area is defined by rolling green hills, vast forests, and the winding Loire River. The village itself is situated on a hilltop and surrounded by open countryside, with panoramic views over the surrounding valleys and mountains. The region is known for its picturesque villages, historic castles and chateaux, and beautiful hiking trails.
