I'm only just getting into open water swimming, so for me this is a nice place to go as there's the safety of lifeguards and other swimmers being around. The site is nice and there are changing rooms, showers and a cafe. The staff I spoke to were friendly. Not as picturesque as wild spots, but safer if you're just starting out, or if like me you don't have a swim buddy.

Absolutely love Pillaton Hall Farm swimming which uses the Nowca booking system and therefore has lifeguards at the venue - it’s where I started as a beginner winter swimming and the help and advice from the staff there is amazing. Gorgeous location, lovely 250m circuit.
