Vrontados is a town located on the eastern coast of the island of Chios, in the North Aegean Region of Greece. It sits on the foothills of the Madaro hill, overlooking the Aegean Sea. The area surrounding Vrontados is characterized by rocky hillsides and small valleys, covered with olive groves, citrus orchards, and vineyards. The coastline is dotted with small coves and beaches, some of which are accessible only by boat. The town itself is built on a slope that descends towards the sea, with narrow streets and traditional, whitewashed houses. The area is known for its rich history and cultural heritage, as well as for its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere.
