Beautiful stretch of the River Soar, if you enter from the slip, swim to your left as this is up stream meaning it will be easier to glide back again.
Getting There
Parking - Parking on Main St. It is no longer possible to park on the slipway. Avoid parking in the Plough car park if possible.

Entry via a slip, the ground is uneven as you enter the water.

Lovely spot for an evening swim. Entry is via a slipway next to the pub. It is however quite a rocky/uneven entry so water shoes are advisable. Need to try the food at the pub next time.
