Description

Approximately 10 ft wide river with overhanging trees. WATCH OUT FOR OBLIVIOUS DOG OWNERS who throw balls into the river without checking if anyone is swimming there.

Getting There

Park for free in Queens Avenue Long Stay Car Park, behind The Medical Centre. It's about 3/4 miles walk across Bury Field to the area.

Accessibility

Sloping sandy beach into the river. Big step down onto beach part though.
