Description

Long gravel shore very popular with water sports enthusiasts. Paddleboarders, kayakers and occasional jet skis all in the mix but a shallow shore when the loch is up. This is a popular swim spot, which is a good safe swim if you are visible and careful around other water users. Can get deep quickly when the loch is lower. Obviously cold water in winter needs more care and Loch Lomond is a big waterbody worthy of respect, planning and the right swim gear. Toilets in car park (not 24 hr )

Great easy access with a gradual slope into the water across large pebbles. Best with swim shoes. Quite a few people on SUPs and kayaks but nothing motorised when I was there.

This is a great place to swim, great gradual entry in when we were there. Also looked great for paddleboarding.
