Really easy access via gravel beach, a nice long swim around the perimeter of the lake and lovely relaxed atmosphere. There are a range of swimmers and plenty of space for a slow amberler like myself as well as faster folks. There aren't any facilities like toilets so changing is next to people's cars, but the parking is broken up into smaller areas so doesn't feel too exposed. They ask that you use a tow float or wear a brightly coloured hat to swim.

Not swum here for a couple of years, Lovely big lake, nice big sighting bouys, great for a long swim,and friendly staff. My only gripe you have to pay the £20 season fee, for first swim, no try before you buy.

Parking on site. Contact the venue for instructions if it's your first time as the entrance is not signed as this is a private lake.

Accessibility

Access via gravel beach. Wear your flip-flops or crocs to the waters edge and leave on the beach, or wear swim shoes.
