About

Matlock Swoosh - River Derwent. Point to point “swoosh” down the river. Park in the car park opposite Premier Inn. Walk up the river over the flat field until you reach the “beach” with stone seat. Enter the water here and get out on the left just before the bridge. Not for beginners and not suitable after heavy rainfall or in winter due to the river flooding often November to March. Tow float required or someone to hold your things and walk down the river on the bank.
