Loch Restil is a freshwater loch that lies in the pass between Glen Croe and Glen Kinglas on the Cowal peninsula. Perfect for a quick dip to ease the joints after coming off the hills. Easy parking in adjacent lay-bys on the A83.

Easy to get to with parking next to the Loch in a lay-by. The hill down to the Loch is steep but manageable. The water was so refreshing.
