Description
Maximum length/width around 2.8km/0.8km, average depth 7m up to 19m, shallow round some shoreline. Some lovely beaches by shallow water but lots of sheep & wildlife so dogs need close control. Isolated & remote, no help nearby. Elevation 264m, cold in winter & could freeze
Getting There
Could access the water in several places from perimeter walk or from road at western end about 200m walk from road down farm track to wee beach. Or park in Amulree & walk to eastern end of the loch
Accessibility
Rough track from road then grassy track to water. Shallow weedy wade in, probably not possible using wheelchair. A long way from help!
