Description

There are 2 lay-bys at the accessible points. A glorious loch. Get there before the fishers or later in the afternoon is best tho everyone is very accommodating

Getting There

Drive to Beeswing, head to Loch Arthur Farm Shop and Cafe, pass by it ( tho totally recommend the food after your swim, French toast is fab) and the lay-bys are on your left as you drive alongside the Loch, when you get to Kissock Forest car park you’ve gone too far

Accessibility

Safe, bit reedy at the edges

Lush, easy swim spot with amazing views! The farm shop down the road, was an added bonus for some yummy porridge afterwards.

Lovely Loch in all conditions. Can get busy in laybys during summer months with paddle boarders and fisherman due to easy access from road. Changing areas next to laybys can be muddy at times. Also recommend Loch Arthur café for breakfast, lunch or a hot drink and a mooch around the farm shop. Do not access the Loch through the Camphill Community since Covid
