Description
Lovely lake to swim in. Gentle pebbly slope in from the beach area. No hazards that I’ve spotted, other than rocky underfoot.
Getting There
Walk up from the A5, there is a paid car park or some lay-bys a bit further away that would add another 5-10 minutes to the walk, parking is very busy on the weekends. Takes about 30mins to walk up to the lake.
Accessibility
Gentle pebbled access from a beachy area. The walk up is not wheelchair accessible.

My first wild swim was in this lake so it has a lot of sentimental presence in my life. I always swim here every time I'm in snowdonia. I love it. The imposing nature of the mountains makes me feel humble. Its always nice to know that I'm providing entertainment to all the watchers as it can get busy around there.

One of my favourite spots to swim. Swam here a few times and no complaints, everyone seems to chuckle about you swimming. Not very secluded so expect people to be around.
