Port-Louis is a small town located on the northeastern coast of Grande-Terre, an island in Guadeloupe. The surrounding scenery is characterized by tropical vegetation, lush forests, and stunning beaches. Petit-Canal is also located on the northeastern coast of Grande-Terre, just south of Port-Louis. The area features a mix of natural and manmade attractions, such as the scenic Rivière Salée, historic landmarks like the Church of Sainte-Rose de Lima, and the stunning beaches of Anse Laborde and Anse du Mancenillier. Grande-Terre is the eastern of two main islands in the French overseas territory of Guadeloupe. The island is known for its beautiful beaches, ranging from the secluded and serene to the bustling and tourist-friendly.
