Small deep lake in beautiful surroundings. Beautiful views as you swim the lake. Very muddy bottom so wear shoes. Great to take a picnic for kids.

Nice spot for a swim. As others mentioned quite squishy bed, and silty water as a result. Great easy access next to the car park. Busy with lots of people paddling. It is quite an exposed location so with the wind today the surface was chopp, making it harder to swim against the chop without getting the water in your mouth. Would recommend a day with low wind for ideal swimming.

Loved this spot! Went for the first time today with beautiful clear skies and sunshine. Quite muddy and rocky underfoot so some water shoes are a good call.
