Description
This is an artificial river that is designed as a flood defence for part of the River Thames. It's a popular spot in summer bit there are no powered craft on the river due to the being no locks, only weirs.
Getting There
Free public car park right next to the way in.
Accessibility
Very easy slope into the water. The weirs can present a hazard particularly if the defence is in operation but they have been designed to be as safe as possible. Multiple entry / exit points.

Very nice spot however you uave to be careful of people fishing. Can get rather muddy and car park is small and at times the pollution isn't great
