Getting There
Turn right after tourist info in Middleton In Teesdale and go up the hill until you see the track on the left. Parking limited so may have to wander up from the village. Continue up the river a few hundred yards.
Accessibility
Some may find it easier to walk up the bed of the river from where you park and other who know the spot will scramble down from further up. The slate bed of the river can be very slippy so wear sensible shoes
