Description
Houghton Mill is a water mill located on the Great Ouse. Great for a long swim and there are some shallower parts too. Lot's of swim spots along the river, take the path along the river from the Mill.
Accessibility
Parking is available at the National Trust car park, or in Houghton village, but both are limited and busy. There are several spots along the river, some easier than other I.e. a couple of ‘beaches’ with easy walk in/out access.

Beautiful swim spot by the mill. Stayed in the mill pond as it was deeper. To shallow to go down the river.

Very nice spot to swim and hire rowing boat or canoe along the river. perfect for family picnic in the summer ☀️
