Description
Rock pool that can be accessed by a ladder climb. Best to swim an hour either side of low tide. Do not swim if the waves are breaking into the pool closer to high tide as it is unsafe at that point.
Getting There
There is parking close by at the top of the cliffs in harbour hill car park. Drive away from the harbour along Portmore Rd and opposite the public toilets turn into Victoria Terrace, drive towards Kinora Terrace and follow the road up the hill to the carpark at the top, you will pass Herring Pond as you drive up to the car park
Accessibility
There is a metal ladder to access the rock pool.

Firkat
Great swim location. Check tide times - we arrived 30 min before low water & there were only a few children in the water (summer holidays). By low water it was getting v busy!
