Description
Hayling Island Beach - Buoyed Swim Zone is a popular meet up point for many local swim groups. Meeting location is West Beach Car Park next to Inn on the Beach Pub. Approx 1.6km (1mile) loop around the buoys. Swim zone is inside the buoys from May to Sept. BBQs allowed on the beach.
Getting There
West Beach Car Park operates parking (machine and ringo) from 6am - 10pm everyday. No overnight camping, Vans/motorhomes £15 a day. Disabled spaces. Public toilets, cafe, pub. Bus 30/31 from Havant Bus Station stops nearby.
Accessibility
Pebble beach to the waters edge at high tide, then sandy on entering the water. No large shelf on entering. Check sewage outflow state on Beachbuoy website. Tow floats are recommended as its next to the kite/wind surfing area. No dogs on the beach infront of the swim zone Spring/Summer, but can walk on the beach to the west side of the pub.

Large swim zone, cafe, pub, toilets and showers, disabled parking, pay for the car park - uses card, cash or ringo. Pebbled beach. Sandy at waters edge and at lower tide.
