A lovely spot, nice for a kayak, SUP or swim. It is NOT a paddling spot for small people.

Got in at the right hand end of the car park facing the river using the ladder... Perfect! Swam against the flow and back. Lots of friendly and courteous boat users on the water.

Lovely spot. Very popular. Lots of swimmers, paddle boarders & kyacking! A fair few boats & the access is a little tricky. Wouldn’t say it’s overly great for kids or the elderly! Parking is right next to the spot though. Slow moving water so feels very safe.
