Description

Sea swim. This side of the pier has no rocks at low tide so can swim high or low tide. Can swim either towards (and round/through) the pier, or go East towards Poo Castle. Please note East of this beach there is a sailing club and further along (about 1km) is a water sports centre, so need to be aware of these potential dangers. Sometimes there are people fishing along beaches East of the pier.

Getting There

This swim spot is opposite the Langham Hotel. There is on street parking on the seafront which has a cost. There is other street parking on roads off of seafront that is currently free. Buses are regular in the area

Accessibility

Great beach to swim from, no rocks so ideal at high or low tide. Knowledge of tides recommended as the flow runs either right to left or left to right and can be hard on the return swim depending which way you go.
