Fresh water fed, originally would have been a curling pond.
Getting There
Walk on the paths from Rowantree carpark.
Accessibility
Paths are a bit rough. But one end of the pond is a gentil beach, the other sides are 2ft or so above the bottom of the water. Water is 1.5ft deep,maybe 2ft at the deepest part in winter..
