Lovely long swim parallel to the beach. Buoys you can swim out to. Sometimes challenging entering due to shorebreak/pebbles

Lovely calm clear water when there’s little wind or an offshore breeze. Plenty of parking at the Eastern end. Can get murky when the water is choppy. Pebbles on the beach can be sharp and may even cut feet, so bring shoes. Clothing optional on western end of the beach. Beware swimming after heavy rain as Southern water have a habit of discharging untreated waste despite this being a blue flag beach!
