Description
Private run lake open for water sports and swimming. Swimming has been run there for many years and is open all year round for swimming. great place for lifeguarded winter swimming
Getting There
When coming down the access road go slowly! The speed bumps are somewhat camouflaged and quite nasty and there are some hefty potholes as well
Accessibility
Slightly rough terrain from car park to site but it is flat. There are also ramps and steps into the water

Ghost Robes
I love bray Lake! This is where I stared outdoor swimming. The atmosphere is super welcoming and inclusive. Attention to safety is a priority. The community of people who swim there is wonderful and supportive. I can’t say enough good things about Bray lake.

We love Bray. The staff are helpful and friendly. Also the lifeguards are very vigilant. Have been swimming here over a year now

A great spot with friendly staff. Fantastic for beginners and when the weather / rivers get a bit hectic. Bit "Goosey" at times and you need to pay but the infrastructure is worth it.

Great for safe open water swimming. Doesn't matter if you're new to the sport, like me, or experienced, there different marked out distances for all abilities. Very inclusive and friendly. With a nice cafe and shop for essential equipment. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming.
